Giving

Each of us is called to worship God through our time, talent and treasure.

It is important for us to share what we have because all good things God has made are meant to be shared.  It is how we give thanks for the many blessings we have received.

Time

Time is one of the most precious possessions we have.  How we spend our time is  a  clear indication of our lives as  Christian disciples.

Talent

Talents are special blessings each of us has received from our Lord.  Sharing our talents means nurturing and using our God-given abilities.  There are many volunteer opportunities available in which you can use your gifts  to  enrich the church and the greater community.  Some examples include Sunday School Teacher, Lay Reader, Ushering, picking  up a neighbor for worship or doctor’s appointment and participating in mission projects and church workdays.

Treasure

You can make your financial gifts in a variety of forms.  You will receive a receipt of your tax-deductible gifts in accordance with IRS requirements.

Cash and checks can be placed in the offering plate during Sunday morning Worship or mailed to the church office.

Chancel Flowers/Fellowship Hour – special occasions such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries or the birth of a new grandchild are wonderful opportunities to celebrate life’s milestones by sponsoring the Chancel Flowers or Fellowship Hour.  Sign up during Sunday Fellowship or by calling the church office.

Living Tribute Gifts provide a lasting memorial to a departed loved one.  You can take comfort in knowing that gifts that pay tribute to a loved one or a cherished event will enable Emmanuel to continue our mission.

Other ways to give include gifts of stocks, wills or living trusts and retirement assets.
