During The Week
Peace And Justice Forum
Presentations and discussions to encourage careful thought and action on peace and justice issues, locally and globally. Third Tuesday of every month at 7:15pm
Education
Emmanuel offers exciting learning opportunities. We engage with the Bible, current social issues, and art and literature to find God in our lives.
Bible In the Contemporary World
First Tuesday of the month in the evenings at 7:15 pm at the Parsonage. Light refreshments will be served.
Brown Bag Discussion Group
Tuesday at 12 noon in the Peace Lounge to discuss contemporary literature related to theology, philosophy, politics, etc.
Women’s Reflection
Sunday nights once a month in the Peace Lounge at 7:00 pm for biblical reflection and mutual encouragement, to center our busy lives in God’s love.
English As A Second Language (ESL)
All nationalities and ability levels are welcome to participate in free classes held Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm. The emphasis is on conversational English, listening comprehension, vocabulary development, and writing.
