Emmanuel Church, at the corner of East Ridgewood Avenue and Hope Street, dedicated a Peace Garden given in loving memory of William “Bill” Jamros by his family. In addition to the Peace Garden dedication, five benches given in memory of Merlin Brockway, Jean Emerizy, Stephanie Demytrk, Bill Jamros, and Bill Wilkins/Louise and Frank Sjaardema were also dedicated.
The entry to the Peace Garden is on East Ridgewood Avenue, nestled between the Church and 324 E. Ridgewood Avenue. It is the hope of Marilyn Clark, mother of Bill, and the Pastors of Emmanuel, that the Church community and the public have many peaceful hours in this Garden.
Emmanuel Church is open for worship each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and the service is also live-streamed. Social distancing is practiced and everyone is requested to use a mask. Please call the Senior Pastor, Dr.
