A community-wide event by local groups raising funds to fight hunger locally and globally
The CROP Hunger Walk initiative, which began in 1969 with the motto ‘We walk because They walk,’ underscores the challenging journeys many people endure to access clean water and food worldwide. Currently, over 2,000 communities across the U.S. come together for more than 1,300 CROP Hunger Walks annually, working towards alleviating hunger and supporting sustainable solutions. Emmanuel Church enthusiastically engages in the Northwest Bergen walk.
